Yesterday, we received detailed information about the announcement date and release date of the Google Pixel Fold, as well as pricing. Today, a new report has confirmed some details and revealed others.
According to this report, Google's first foldable smartphone, the Pixel Fold, is said to cost “upward of $1,700”, which aligns nicely with the previously leaked price of $1,799. Additionally, Google will reportedly offer a free Pixel Watch to Pixel Fold buyers, along with a trade-in option.

“Internal documents and images” indicate that Google will tout the Pixel Fold as having “the most durable hinge on a foldable”. It will also be marketed as water-resistant, although the standard it adheres to is unclear. The outer screen will measure 5.8″, while the inner screen will expand to 7.6″.
Reportedly weighing 10oz (283g), the device has a larger battery than Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold4, but is also heavier. The marketing materials claim that the battery can last for 24 hours or up to 72 hours in a low-power mode. The documents also confirm that the Pixel Fold is powered by the Tensor G2 chipset.
The Pixel Fold is expected to be unveiled fully at the Google I/O developer conference on May 10th and, according to yesterday's rumor, will be available for purchase on June 27th.
