Honor will unveil the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro on November 24 in China. The brand already revealed both smartphones' designs, and now they have announced that the Pro model will feature a new 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners are better than optical ones, as they offer better security and accuracy. Besides, the one used by Honor for the 500 Pro is faster than previous versions, as the brand claims it takes just 0.1 second to unlock the device, even with wet hands or a wet screen (the phone is IP69K-rated).

Honor hasn't detailed the 500 Pro's specs sheet; however, a recent leak claimed the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, pack an 8,000 mAh battery, and feature a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
The Honor 500, on the other hand, is rumored to come with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip under the hood. You can check the leaked specs of both smartphones here.
