Titan 7 Pro Review: Flagship Speed Without the Flagship Price
We spent three weeks with Titan's latest flagship to see if its charging speed and camera quality can make up for a smaller-than-average battery.
Excellent charging, display, and camera performance make this one of the best value flagships of the year — the only real compromise is battery capacity.
How we tested it
CellChamp purchased this unit at full retail price — it was not provided by the manufacturer. We used it as a daily driver for three weeks, ran it through our standard benchmark suite, and shot over 400 test photos across a range of lighting conditions before writing a word of this review.
Design & Build
The aluminum frame and matte-glass back keep the Titan 7 Pro from feeling like a fingerprint magnet, and at 197g it's noticeably lighter in hand than most 6.7" phones we've tested this year. The camera bump is modest enough that the phone doesn't rock annoyingly on a flat desk — a small detail, but one that matters daily.
Button placement is sensible, the frame has a satisfying matte texture that resists slipping, and the in-display fingerprint sensor is fast enough that we stopped noticing it within a day.
Display
The 6.7" LTPO OLED panel hits 2,600 nits at peak brightness — bright enough to stay legible in direct midday sun, which is more than we can say for several rivals at this price. The 120Hz refresh rate scales down dynamically to save battery during static content, and we couldn't detect any flicker or PWM discomfort during extended reading sessions.
Performance
The Titan Fusion X2 chipset handles everything we threw at it without a stutter, from multitasking across a dozen browser tabs to sustained gaming sessions. Thermal throttling is present but mild — frame rates dip about 8% after 20 minutes of a graphically intensive game, in line with phones in this class.
Camera
Photos from the 50MP main sensor are consistently well-exposed with accurate color science, and low-light performance is a genuine standout — night mode shots hold detail without the smeary look common at this price. The 3x telephoto starts to soften past about 5x digital zoom, which is the one weak point in an otherwise strong camera system.
Battery & Charging
This is the trade-off section. The 4,650 mAh cell delivered a solid full day of moderate use in our testing — roughly 6 hours of screen-on-time — but heavy users will want a charger nearby by early evening. The upside: 65W wired charging took our unit from empty to 50% in 12 minutes flat, the fastest we've measured at this price point.
Software & Features
Android 16 runs close to stock with a handful of genuinely useful additions — an on-device AI assistant handles call summaries and live translation without a cloud round-trip. Titan's commitment to four years of OS updates and five years of security patches is class-leading and worth factoring into the phone's long-term value.
